La Pine, Ore. – One person was killed in a crash involving a semi-truck on Highway 97 in La Pine Thursday morning.
According to the Oregon Department of Transportation, the wreck was reported at around 10:15 a.m. on Highway 97 near milepost 174.
Reports state that a semi-truck collided with an SUV due to amid snow and winter conditions in the area.
One person, whose identity was not released died in the wreck.
Both directions of the highway was blocked due to the wreck for about five hours.
No additional information about the wreck was provided.
