At Least 1 Killed in Ben Lomond Car Crash on Alba Road in Santa Cruz County
Santa Cruz County, California (July 23, 2022) – At least one person died in a two-vehicle collision that happened Saturday afternoon near Ben Lomond in Santa Cruz County, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident occurred at about 3:17 p.m. on Alba Road near Stoddard Road.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to find a black Toyota 4Runner and another car involved in the collision, with at least one person in need of CPR.
The firefighters offered the victim CPR at the scene.
The report said at least one person died of injuries sustained in the accident.
Alba Road between Stoddard Road and Western Avenue remained closed until around 6:25 p.m., when authorities concluded an on-scene investigation.
