The police said a passenger Car collided with a semi-truck on Loop 202 and 40th Street causing the truck to catch fire
Phoenix, Ariz. – One person was killed in a wrong-way vehicle collision on Loop 202 in Ahwatukee Monday morning.
According to the authorities the wreck was reported on Loop 202 and 40th Street at around 10:42 a.m.
The police said a passenger Car collided with a semi-truck in the area causing the truck to catch fire.
One person, whose identity was not immediately disclosed died in the accident.
The freeway was shut down at 24th street due to the wreck but later re-opened at around 2 p.m.
More information about the wreck was not provided.
