A 43-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle near the central Fresno intersection under unclear circumstances

Fresno, Calif. – One person was killed in a pedestrian collision in Fresno on Monday night, according to the Fresno Police Department.
The crash happened on West Clinton and North Channing avenues at about 7 p.m. December 18.
Police said a 43-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle near the central Fresno intersection under unclear circumstances.
The woman, whose name was not released, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver stayed at the scene and reportedly cooperated with investigators.
The accident is under investigation.
