Fresno, Calif. – A driver was killed in a head-on collision Thursday morning on State Route 180 in Fresno, according to the authorities.
The tragic traffic collision was reported at around 6:45 a.m. on Highway 180 at Dickenson Avenue.
Reportedly, a pickup lost control and slid sideways into the path of an oncoming work truck. Both vehicles collided head-on.
The pickup truck driver was killed in the accident.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately released.
Highway 180 was closed in both directions at Monroe Avenue near Kerman during the on-scene investigation.
