Sacramento, Calif. – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in North Sacramento Saturday evening, according to the CHP.
Authorities received a report regarding a deadly auto-pedestrian crash on Dewey Drive at around 6:03 p.m.
The police said a vehicle struck the victim in the area in unclear circumstances.
The unidentified pedestrian was pronounced dead at the crash site.
The driver involved remained at the crash site and was cooperating with the investigators.
More information about the wreck was not available.
An investigation is underway.
