Pleasant Hill, CA. – Authorities are investigating a deadly pedestrian crash on State Route 242 in Pleasant Hill Sunday morning.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash site at around 5:23 a.m. on Highway 242 at Gregory Lane.
Reportedly, a vehicle struck a pedestrian on the highway for unknown reasons.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
More details about the wreck were not provided.
An investigation is underway.
