1 Killed in Violent Oakland Crash on Highway 24 near Broadway
Oakland, California (May 21, 2022) – One person was killed in a violent head-on collision in Oakland early Saturday morning.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision happened on Highway 24 near Broadway at around 1:55 a.m.
Two sedans were involved in the crash. One of the cars was traveling the wrong way prior to the collision.
The impact of the collision caused one of the cars to split in half.
One person was killed in the crash.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
