Female Driver Hurt in Fremont Truck Accident on 680 Freeway and Mission Boulevard
Fremont, California (September 7, 2022) – A female driver was hurt following a semi-truck accident on Tuesday afternoon in Fremont, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at around 2:11 p.m. on September 6, northbound 680 Freeway, just south of Mission Boulevard.
Per the dispatch, a Walmart semi-truck and another vehicle collided for reasons still under investigation.
Responding firefighters and medical personnel aided one female driver who suffered minor injuries from the collision. The name of the patient was not immediately released.
The vehicles were blocking lanes 2 and 3 following the incident. The cars were moved to the right shoulder of the roadway and all lanes re-opened as of 2:28 p.m.
A tow truck was requested to remove the small car from the accident location.
Further details regarding this incident were not released.
