According to the WSP, a 69-year-old Olympia woman was driving a black 2017 Lexis RX northbound on I-15 when she hit a pedestrian that was running across the roadway

Lewis County, WA. – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Lewis County on Thursday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The incident took place on Interstate 5 at milepost 59, at around 9:20 a.m. June 26.
According to the WSP, a 69-year-old Olympia woman was driving a black 2017 Lexis RX northbound on I-15 when she hit a pedestrian that was running across the roadway.
The pedestrian, a 33-year-old Ferndale woman, was taken to Tacoma General Hospital for treatment.
No other injuries were reported in the incident.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
