2 Children Injured in Fontana Crash at Etiwanda Avenue and Santa Ana Avenue

Fontana, California (May 2, 2022) – A crash involving a suspected DUI motorist left two children injured on Saturday evening in Fontana, according to the Fontana Police Department.
The wreck happened at Etiwanda Avenue and Santa Ana Avenue at about 7 p.m. on April 30.
A gray Toyota Camry was reportedly heading south on Etiwanda Avenue when it swerved into the northbound side and collided with a vehicle stopped at a red light near Santa Ana Avenue.
Two children, aged 3 and 1, were passengers in the Toyota. They were not properly restrained and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The children were transported to a hospital for treatment.
Passengers in the second vehicle declined treatment.
The driver of the Toyota was arrested at the scene for DUI and child endangerment.
The Fontana Police Department is investigating the incident.
