Woman Hospitalized after Fontana Crash on Foothill Boulevard near Almeria Avenue
Fontana, California (January 5, 2021) – A woman was sent to a hospital following a Tuesday evening car crash in Fontana, police said.
According to the Fontana Police Department, the collision happened at around 6:51 p.m. on January 4 on Foothill Boulevard, just west of Almeria Avenue.
Police said a white Mercedes SUV possibly collided head-on with a red Ford Mustang on the roadway.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated the Mustang driver who was trapped in the wreckage.
The freed victim, only identified as a woman, was then taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. Her name and current condition remained unknown.
The driver of the Mercedes was treated at the crash site.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
The collision remains under investigation.
