Rider Suffers Moderate Injuries in Fontana Motorcycle Collision on Interstate 10 near Cherry Avenue

Fontana, California (September 16, 2021) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a Wednesday afternoon traffic collision that happened on Interstate 10 in Fontana, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At around 5:10 p.m., authorities received a report of the accident in the eastbound lanes of the freeway near Cherry Avenue.
A 2009 Yamaha motorcycle collided with a sedan under unclear circumstances.
Firefighters and AMR responded to the scene.
The motorcyclist was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.
CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
