Minor Injuries Suffered in Fontana Car Crash on 15 Freeway near Sierra Avenue
Fontana, California (December 15, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck that occurred Tuesday morning in Fontana.
The California Highway Patrol said the wreck took place at about 6:33 a.m. on northbound 15 Freeway near Sierra Avenue.
The accident involved a gray Ford Explorer SUV, a semi-truck and a second SUV.
The vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
A female party in the second SUV complained of pain to her chest. An ambulance was sent to the scene to offer medical aid to the patient. It was not clear if she was hospitalized.
Several traffic lanes were temporarily closed down following the accident.
CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
