Santa Rosa, CA. – A 65-year-old Forestville man died a week after severe injuries sustained in a pedestrian crash in early April on Corporate Center Parkway in Santa Rosa.
According to a police report, the wreck happened just after 9 p.m. on April 6 on Corporate Center Parkway at Challenger Way.
Reportedly, the man was crossing the streets when he was struck by a grey Mazda SUV in unclear circumstances.
The victim suffered severe injuries and was taken to the hospital, where he remained in critical but stable condition for eight days before he succumbed to his injuries.
The identity of the deceased was upheld pending notification of the next of kin.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
