Fort Bragg Accident at Oak and Harold Streets Injures 2
Fort Bragg, California (November 19, 2021) – Two boys were hit and injured by a vehicle at an intersection in Fort Bragg Tuesday morning, a local news source reported.
The pedestrian crash took place at Oak and Harold streets shortly after 8:00 a.m. on November 16.
A pickup truck reportedly struck two 11-year-old boys crossing the Fort Bragg intersection in the crosswalk.
One of the teenagers sustained moderate injuries while the other survived with minor hurts.
Officials said one of them was rushed to an area hospital for medication, and the other was treated at the scene.
The involved motorist told police that his vision became impaired by the sun when he hit the victims.
He remained at the crash site and cooperated with the law enforcers.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
