Francisco Saldivar Killed in Shafter Bike Accident on Highway 43 near Cherry Street
Shafter, California (September 20, 2022) – Francisco Saldivar, 44, of Shafter, died after being involved in a bicycle accident that took place in Shafter on September 12, according to authorities.
The incident took place at about 2:05 a.m. on Highway 43 north of Cherry Street.
Authorities said Saldivar was riding a bike on the highway when a vehicle struck him.
Saldivar was pronounced deceased at the scene.
There were no further details on the collision.
An investigation into the wreck is ongoing.
