Francisco Salgado Killed in San Jacinto Accident on Ramona Express Way and Warren Road

San Jacinto, California (March 20, 2022) – Francisco Salgado, 88, was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in San Jacinto on Thursday evening, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
At around 6:20 p.m. March 19, Salgado was driving a truck pulling a smaller trailer eastbound on the Ramona Expressway when he drifted onto the westbound side to avoid vehicles stopped on the roadway.
The truck crashed into the rear of a black Jeep Wrangler, then collided with a westbound Nissan Frontier and a westbound white Jeep Wrangler.
The accident took place near Warren Road.
Francisco Salgado Dies in San Jacinto Collision
Salgado and the driver of the white Wrangler were extricated and transported to a hospital.
Salgado was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.
No other injuries were reported.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
