Minor Injuries Suffered in Fremont Car Crash on Interstate 680 and Highway 84
Fremont, California (January 6, 2022) – Seven vehicles collided Wednesday afternoon in Fremont, resulting in minor injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred at around 3:35 p.m. on the northbound Interstate 680 to the eastbound Highway 84 connector.
Firefighters responded to the scene and found a Toyota pickup truck overturned onto its side and a Nissan Frontier with major rear-end damage. A black Hyundai Santa Fe, a Chevy Astro van, and three other vehicles were involved in the accident.
The report said minor injuries were sustained in the crash, but did not give more details.
The No. 1 lane of northbound I-680 to eastbound Highway 84 was temporarily closed following the crash.
