1 Injured in Fresno Car Crash on Highway 99 near Cedar Avenue Off-Ramp
Fresno, California (February 8, 2022) – One person was sent to the hospital after two vehicles collided Tuesday morning in Fresno, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred at about 8:52 a.m. on northbound Highway 99, just north of the Cedar Avenue off-ramp.
A black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck pulling a trailer collided with a white Toyota Camry under unclear circumstances. The pickup truck went over the center divider wall after the first impact. The driver of that vehicle was possibly trapped inside.
Police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and Caltrans officials responded to the crash.
One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
