, California (November 23, 2021) – Four people were injured, one critically, after an alleged DUI car crash at an intersection in southeast Fresno Tuesday night, according to police.

The collision took place near the intersection of Cedar Avenue and Florence Avenue.

Police said a man and a contract worker for Amazon were pulling out of the facility when their Chevy was struck by a Kia on Cedar Avenue.

The Chevy driver was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition.

Three passengers of the Kia sustained minor injuries and were transported to Community Regional Medical Center.

Police determined that the driver of the Kia was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. The driver was ultimately arrested on suspicion of DUI.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
