1 Seriously Injured in Fresno County Truck Accident on S. Walnut Avenue near Jefferson Avenue
Fresno County, California (August 26, 2021) – One person was seriously injured Thursday evening in a traffic collision between a semi-truck and a car in Fresno County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The major injury crash occurred shortly before 7:00 p.m. on S. Walnut Avenue, just north of Jefferson Avenue, near Easton.
The CHP said the big rig collided with the car under unclear circumstances.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and extricated the car driver who was trapped in the wreckage.
One person sustained major injuries as a result of the crash. The name of the victim and their condition were not immediately disclosed.
