Menifee, CA – The person who died in a traffic collision on 215 Freeway in Menifee on Saturday night has been identified.
The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner identified the victim as 19-year-old Gabriel Ruiz Valles of San Diego.
Gabriel Valles was pronounced dead at 9:02 p.m. on Interstate 215, approximately half a mile north of Scott Road after at least two vehicles collided at around 8:35 p.m. on December 14.
Authorities said six other people were injured in the incident.

Menifee, CA – One person is dead and six others hospitalized following a multi-vehicle traffic collision on Interstate 215 in Menifee Saturday night, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Office.
The accident happened at about 8:35 p.m. on December 14 on Southbound Interstate 215, approximately half a mile north of Scott Road.
Authorities said at least two vehicles were involved in the collision. One person was killed in the incident. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at about 9:02 p.m. the same day.
Six other people were hospitalized in unknown condition, according to the Sherif's Office.
No additional information is available at this time. The California Highway Patrol – Riverside Office is investigating the deadly incident.
