WSP said two people were injured in the accident and were transported to the hospital for treatment

Stevens County, WA. – One person was killed in a head-on collision on Thursday afternoon near Springdale in Stevens County.
The fatal collision happened at Highway 231 and Reservation Road at around 3:30 p.m., according to the Washington State Patrol.
A vehicle was traveling south on Highway 231 when it drifted into the opposite lanes and collided head-on with another car.

76-year-old Gary Grantham was killed in the accident.
WSP said two people were injured in the accident and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
