Woodcrest, CA.- A 14-year-old boy was killed when he collided with a vehicle while riding a dirt bike in Woodcrest on Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened at Gardner and Krameria avenues just after 6 a.m. shortly after 6 a.m. June 12.
The CHP reported that Gavin Carrillo, 14, was riding a dirt bike westbound on Krameria Avenue when he collided with a Toyota 4Runner heading north on Gardner Avenue.
Carrillo was found pinned underneath the SUV and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the SUV stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the collision.
