Genaro Gonzalez Killed in Woodland Accident on County Road 97
Woodland, California (November 13, 2021) – Genaro Gonzalez, 58, was killed in a collision between a car and a lawn mower outside Woodland on Thursday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The incident occurred shortly after 3 p.m. on November 11, on County Road 97.
According to the report, Gonzalez was riding a lawn mower northbound on CR 97 when a driver in a 2003 Nissan failed to slow down and slammed into him.
The impact ejected Gonzalez from the lawn mower.

Authorities said Gonzalez died from his injuries at the scene.
The other driver sustained minor injuries and was not suspected of impairment.
CR 97 was closed between CR 24 and SR 16 as authorities worked at the scene.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
