Banning, CA – A 75-year-old man was killed following a single-vehicle rollover crash on 10 Freeway in Banning Tuesday morning.
The deadly crash happened at about 6:09 p.m. on Interstate 10, approximately 2400 feet east of Hargrave Street.
According to CHP, a 2019 Subaru Outback veered off the roadway and overturned, trapping the driver and passenger.
The two were extricated and the male passenger, identified as George Letts, 75, of Oro Valley, AZ, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Subaru, a woman from Oro Valley, AZ, was hospitalized with major injuries.
No additional information was provided. The crash remains under investigation.
