Woman Critically Injured, German Dominguez Galindo Arrested After DUI Ukiah Car Accident on North State Street

Ukiah, California (August 12, 2022) – German Dominguez-Galindo, 33, has been arrested for DUI following a pedestrian accident that critically injured a woman on Sunday night in Ukiah, according to a local news source.
The accident happened around 11:20 p.m. on August 7, in the 1000 block of North State Street.
As per the source article, a 31-year-old woman was walking near the entrance of the Redwood Empire Fairgrounds with an infant in a stroller when a sedan struck her. German reportedly operated the sedan at the time.
Responding emergency crews rushed the female pedestrian to a hospital outside the county, where she was listed in critical condition. The infant was transported to Adventist Health Ukiah Valley for medical evaluation. The child was later released from the hospital after the review revealed that they did not suffer injuries.
According to authorities, Dominguez-Galindo reportedly showed alcohol intoxication symptoms. He was arrested and booked into Mendocino County Jail on suspicion of DUI and causing injury.
An investigation is underway.
