Claremont, CA – The authorities have released the identity of a person who died in a rear-end traffic collision in Claremont early Tuesday.
The Los Angeles Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as 56-year-old Gilbert Green.
Authorities said Green died after a Toyota Tundra he was driving rear-ended a fire truck on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway at Mills Avenue at about 4:37 a.m. on June 24.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Claremont, CA – One person was killed early Tuesday morning in a rear-end collision in Claremont, according to the CHP.
The deadly collision was reported around 4:37 a.m., on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway at Mills Avenue.
CHP said a Toyota Tundra rear-ended a fire truck on the freeway.
The Tundra driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim's identity has not been released.
