1 Killed, 3 Injured in Gilman Springs Crash on Lamb Canyon Road and Gilman Springs Road
Gilman Springs, California (October 22, 2021) – One person died, and three others were injured in a multi-car collision that happened Friday morning at an intersection in Gilman Springs, as per a local news source.
The Riverside County Fire Department and Cal Fire responded to the intersection of Lamb Canyon Road and Gilman Springs Road after receiving reports of the crash.
Three vehicles were involved in the wreck that occurred at around 6:48 a.m.
The report said one person was pronounced dead at the scene, and three others were taken to a local hospital for treatment after they were freed from the wreckage. One of the patients sustained serious injuries.
The identity of the deceased and the conditions of the patients were not mentioned.
Following the crash, Sanderson Avenue/State Route 79 was closed between Gilman Springs Road and Ramona Expressway for an unknown period.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
