One Person Injured in Gonzales Car Crash on Highway 101 Highway 101 near 5th Street
Gonzales, California (January 19, 2022) – One person was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash in Gonzales, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision was reported at around 1:44 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, on Highway 101, just south of 5th Street.
CHP said a pickup truck collided with a silver Honda Accord in the southbound lane of the highway.
One Hospitalized after Highway 101 Accident
Authorities said one patient, whose name has not been released, was transported to the Natividad Medical Center with minor injuries.
The southbound lanes of Highway 101 were temporarily blocked due to the incident.
No further details about the crash were available.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
