1 Killed in Granada Hills Crash on 118 Freeway near 405 Freeway
Granada Hills, California (March 1, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash that occurred in Granada Hills on Tuesday morning.
According to the CHP, the collision happened on the 118 Freeway near 405 Freeway at around 11:45 a.m.
Multiple cars reportedly collided in the eastbound lanes of the freeway, just west of the 405 Freeway.
The impact caused one of the cars to flip several times, then it collided with the center divider and a traffic pole.

Another vehicle was reportedly pushed into the westbound side of the freeway.
At least one person died in the accident.
It's unclear whether other involved parties were injured.
Several lanes were blocked on the freeway as authorities worked at the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
