Hal Wood Killed in Kern County Plane Crash near Garlock Road and Highway 395
Kern County, California (November 15, 2021) – One of the two people who were killed Friday afternoon in a plane crash that happened near Garlock Camp, northeast of California City in Kern County has been identified as Hal Derwin Wood, 68, of Murrieta, according to the Kern County Coroner's Office.
The incident occurred just before 2:15 p.m. November 12, north of Garlock Road, west of Highway 395.
According to the authorities, a two-seater plane crashed in the open desert under unclear circumstances.
