1 Hospitalized after Harbor Gateway Truck Accident on 110 Freeway and 91 Freeway

Los Angeles, California (September 23, 2021) – One person was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon following a traffic collision involving a semi-truck in the Harbor Gateway neighborhood in Los Angeles.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash was reported at around 1:49 p.m. Wednesday, September 22, on southbound 110 Freeway and eastbound 91 Freeway.
A big rig hauling mulch /sawdust reportedly flipped onto a car. Following the collision, the car became wedged underneath the trailer.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated two people who were trapped in the car. One of them was transported by medical personnel to a local hospital for further aid.
The second freed victim and the driver of the truck were not injured.
No other details were immediately provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
