Harit Patel ID'd as Boy Killed in Fremont Bicycle Crash on Montrose Avenue
Fremont, California (May 25, 2022) – The young child who was killed by a vehicle while riding a bicycle on Friday afternoon in Fremont has been identified as Harit Patel, 7, of Fremont, according to a local news source.
The wreck happened in the 43000 block of Montrose Avenue, near Fremont Boulevard at about 3:45 p.m. on May 20.
According to Fremont police, a vehicle traveling on the roadway struck Patel, who was on a bicycle.
Emergency crews responded to the site of the accident and attended to Patel.

He was eventually transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The operator of the vehicle remained at the scene after the accident.
Police are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
