At Least 1 Seriously Hurt in Hayward Car Crash on Highway 92 near Clawiter Road Off-Ramp
Hayward, California (February 14, 2022) – At least one person was seriously hurt in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred Monday evening in Hayward, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The pileup occurred at about 6:10 p.m. on eastbound Highway 92, just west of Clawiter Road off-ramp.
Four vehicles, including a black Dodge Ram pickup truck, were involved in the accident.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene.
At least one person sustained major injuries in the crash. An ambulance responded to the scene and transported the patient to the hospital.
Traffic was backed up on the highway up to the San Mateo Bridge Midspan.
