Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Hayward Crash on Interstate 880 near State Route 92
Hayward, California (October 3, 2021) – A rider was hospitalized with serious injuries sustained in a traffic collision on an interstate in Hayward Friday afternoon.
At about 4:00 p.m., a serious injury crash occurred on Interstate 880 at State Route 92.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident involved a gray pickup truck, a Harley Davidson motorcycle, and a third vehicle that crashed on the northbound side of the freeway for undetermined reasons.

The cyclist, whose identity has not been released, suffered serious injuries following the collision. Paramedics arrived at the scene and treated the victim before taking them to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Details regarding the involved motorist were not immediately available at the report time.
The crash resulted in the closure of the northbound lanes of Interstate 880 near State Route 92 for about an hour.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
