Minor Injuries Suffered in Hayward Car Accident on 880 Freeway near Whipple Road Off-Road
Hayward, California (March 31, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a minor injury accident that happened Thursday afternoon in Hayward.
The California Highway Patrol said the collision occurred at about 1:38 p.m. on northbound 880 Freeway, just south of Whipple Road off-ramp.
A Ford C-Max collided with a white Volkswagen, blocking two traffic lanes.
The accident resulted in minor injuries, the report said. Emergency crews responded to the scene and offered medical aid to the victims.
Both vehicles were towed away from the collision scene.
