A preliminary investigation indicated that a southbound red Chevy Monte Carlo on the highway veered into the northbound lane and collided with a White Honda Odyssey

Lincoln County, OR. – Heidi Fay Rock, 74, of Waldport was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 101 in Lincoln County Monday evening.
The Oregon State Police responded to the accident at around 5:39 p.m. on April 22 on State Route 101 near milepost 143.
A preliminary investigation indicated that a southbound red Chevy Monte Carlo on the highway veered into the northbound lane and collided with a White Honda Odyssey.
Rock, who was driving the Chevy was rushed to a hospital, where she later died.
The Honda driver, 38-year-old Celeste Diana Paulson of Newport, and two juvenile passengers ages 6 and 4-month-old, were hospitalized with minor injuries.
The highway was impacted for about four hours during the on-scene investigation.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
