Cyclist Seriously Injured in Hemet Crash on Sanderson Avenue and Devonshire Avenue
Hemet, California (December 25, 2021) – A bicyclist was seriously injured in a Saturday afternoon traffic accident in Hemet, authorities said.
The major injury bicycle accident occurred at about 11:24 p.m. at Sanderson Avenue and Devonshire Avenue.
According to the police, a blue Toyota Camry was driving southbound on Sanderson Avenue and crossed a green light into the Devonshire Avenue intersection, where it struck the bicyclist.
Bicyclist Injured in Crash on Sanderson Avenue
The bicyclist was seriously injured in the accident and was hospitalized for treatment, where the cyclist remained in critical condition.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Intoxication was not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
