Hesperia: 2 Hospitalized after Semi and Box Truck Crash at Joshua and Main Streets

, California (October 5, 2021) – Two drivers are now recovering in a local hospital after being involved in a traffic collision Monday morning in Hesperia, the California Highway Patrol said.

At about 7:53 a.m., on October 4, authorities received a crash report involving a 2020 Hino 195 box and a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia with an Eston Logistics trailer in the area of Joshua and Main Street.

As per the CHP report, the 18-wheeler tractor truck collided with the disabled truck that was stopped on the right-hand shoulder for undetermined reasons.

Due to the impact, the semi acquired front-end damage while the Hino truck rolled over onto its side.

Hesperia 2-Vehicle Collision

The accident left the two truck drivers with unspecified injuries. Paramedics treated both unidentified victims before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

The intersection was closed for an unknown time as a result of the crash.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
