1 Extricated after Hesperia Car Accident on Summit Valley Road near Ranchero Road
Hesperia, California (December 12, 2021) – One person was airlifted to the hospital after two vehicles collided Saturday morning in Hesperia, as per a local news source.
San Bernardino County firefighters and other emergency crews responded to the scene after receiving reports of the accident at around 9:22 a.m. on Summit Valley Road near Ranchero Road.
A Honda Pilot SUV and a Toyota Tercel collided under unknown circumstances, blocking the roadway.
One person was trapped inside the Toyota.
The firefighters extricated the party and requested an air ambulance to transport the victim to the hospital. Mercy Air responded and airlifted the patient to a trauma center with unspecified injuries.
The report added that a woman in the SUV was also hospitalized with minor injuries.
Investigators closed the roadway in both directions as they worked the scene.
