, California (February 22, 2022) – Three people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday afternoon in Hesperia, as per a local news source.

Police officers and the firefighters responded to the scene on Main Street and Tamarisk Avenue after receiving reports of the crash that happened at around 12:08 p.m.

At the scene, the responders found a white 2007 Chevy Silverado and a silver 4-door Cadillac involved in the accident, with the driver of the pickup trapped.

Authorities said the driver of the pickup was pushed towards the driver's side of the in the crash. Firefighters had to move a few things around to free the victim.

Two occupants of the sedan and the driver of the truck were hospitalized with unknown injuries.

Officers closed the westbound lanes of Main Street to allow medical personnel to treat the victims at the scene and the vehicles to be towed away.

The Hesperia Police Department is investigating the accident.
