Hui Xuan ID'd as Victim Killed in San Jose Pedestrian Accident on Alum Rock Avenue near Interstate 680
San Jose, California (March 20, 2022) – Authorities have identified the pedestrian who died after being struck by a vehicle earlier this month in San Jose as Hui Juan Xuan.
The tragic accident happened at around 5:34 a.m. on March 2 on Alum Rock Avenue.
According to the authorities, Xuan was walking on Alum Rock Avenue inside a crosswalk when she was struck by a 2006 Chevrolet HHR that was traveling westbound.
The Chevrolet reportedly hit Xuan across the entrance to northbound Interstate 680.
Woman Killed in San Jose Pedestrian Crash Identified
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found Xuan with major injuries. She was then taken to a hospital, where she later died.
The involved driver stopped at the scene to cooperate with the police.
