Ruiz Vargas then overcorrected and went across the roadway into the eastbound side, where the Civic was struck on its passenger side by a Nissan Rogue

Crook County, OR – Humberto Ruiz Vargas, 24, of Prineville, was killed in a motorcycle collision in Crook County on Friday morning, according to the Oregon State Police.
The accident occurred on Highway 126 near milepost 6 at about 7:30 p.m. June 29.
According to the report, Ruiz Vargas was driving a Honda Civic westbound on Highway 126 when he drifted off the side of the roadway while passing through a left-hand curve.
Ruiz Vargas then overcorrected and went across the roadway into the eastbound side, where the Civic was struck on its passenger side by a Nissan Rogue.
The Nissan rolled onto its passenger side following the wreck.
Authorities said Ruiz Vargas was flown to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Nissan, a 39-year-old, and a passenger in the Nissan, a 22-year-old, were both hospitalized with serious injuries.
The accident is under investigation.
