Josephine County, OR – The Oregon State Police has released the identity of the person who died after two vehicles collided at an intersection in Josephine County on Monday morning. One other person was hurt in the incident.

OSP identified the deceased party as Hunter Lee Bryant, 24, of Cave Junction. The injured driver was identified as Scott Adam Seaman, 59, of .

Authorities said Hunter Bryant ignored a stop sign at the intersection of Highway 199 and Waldamar Road and collided with a GMC Yukon operated by Seaman.

Bryant was pronounced dead at the scene. Seaman sustained minor injuries.

Josephine County, OR – The Oregon State Police is investigating a deadly crash that left one person dead and another injured at an intersection in Josephine County Monday morning.

The collision happened at about 10:48 a.m. on May 19 at the intersection of Highway 199 and Waldamar Road.

OSP said a Toyota Corolla was heading eastbound on Waldamar Road when the driver ran a stop sign and entered Highway 199. A GMC Yukon traveling southbound crashed into the driver-side door of the Toyota.

The driver of the Toyota died at the scene. The GMC driver suffered minor injuries.

The crash impacted the highway for about three ours as crews and investigators worked at the scene.
