Ibarra Gonzalez Killed in Merced Accident at Bellevue and Fox Roads
Merced, California (March 15, 2022) – Ibarra Gonzalez, 36, of Merced was killed in a collision with a big rig in Merced on Monday morning, according to the Merced County Sheriff's Office.
The incident happened at Bellevue and Fox roads at around 7 a.m. March 14.
Authorities said Gonzalez was driving a 2011 Chevy Equinox when she failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and collided with a tractor trailer.
Gonzalez was killed in the accident.
Three children in her vehicle were flown to Valley Children's Medical Center in Madera for treatment of moderate to major injuries.
Drugs and alcohol were not believed to be factors in the incident.
