One of Two Teens Killed in Palmdale Car Accident at Elizabeth Lake Road and 15th Street West Identified

, CA. – 18-year-old Bryac Cole has been identified as one of the two teens who died in a two-vehicle collision that happened last weekend near Palmdale.

The wreck took place around 8:45 p.m. at Elizabeth Lake Road and 15th Street West in the unincorporated Desert View Highlands area.

Cole, an 18-year-old man, and several others were involved in the crash.

According to investigators, a 17-year-old Palmdale boy was driving a 2023 Toyota westbound on Elizabeth Lake Road with Cole, an 18-year-old man, a 17-year-old girl, and an 18-year-old woman as his passengers.

Authorities said, for an unknown reason, the driver of the Toyota made a left turn into the path of an eastbound 2018 Subaru driven by a 19-year-old woman.

The vehicles were involved in a broadside collision.

Cole and the 18-year-old man in the Toyota were unrestrained at the time of the crash. They were transported to Children's Hospital in , where they later died from their injuries.

The 18-year-old man's name was yet to be released.

Desert View Highlands, CA – Two teenagers were killed Saturday night in a two-vehicle collision in unincorporated Desert View Highlands, according to the CHP.

The collision happened around 8:45 p.m. on July 19 in the area of Elizabeth Lake Road and 15th Street West near Palmdale

CHP said a 17-year-old Palmdale boy was driving a 2023 Toyota westbound on Elizabeth Lake Road when he turned left into the path of an eastbound 2018 Subaru and was broadsided.

Two passengers in the Toyota, an 18-year-old man and a 14-year-old girl, were taken to Children's Hospital Los Angeles, where they were pronounced dead. They were not wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.

Two other passengers, a 17-year-old girl and an 18-year-old woman, both from Palmdale, were taken to Valley Medical Center with major injuries. They were also not wearing their seatbelts at the time of the collision.

The Toyota driver was taken to Palmdale Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

The Subaru driver, a 19-year-old Palmdale woman who was wearing a seatbelt, sustained minor injuries but did not require hospitalization.

Alcohol and drugs were not considered factors in the collision.

The CHP is investigating the accident.
