Riverside, Calif. – The Sheriff-Coroner has identified the who was struck and killed early Thursday morning on Riverside (91) Freeway as Patrick Glant, 45, of Riverside.

The crash happened at about 12:12 a.m. on February 1 on westbound 91 at La Sierra Avenue.

According to the Sheriff's Department, Glant was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.

Riverside, Calif. –  A pedestrian died after being struck by a big rig early Thursday morning in Riverside.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 12:12 a.m. on the westbound Riverside (91) Freeway at La Sierra Avenue.

The unidentified pedestrian died from injuries sustained in the crash.
