, California (December 2, 2021) – One person was hospitalized Monday evening following a car crash in Imperial, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The collision, which involved two vehicles, was reported at around 7:13 p.m. Monday, November 29, at the intersection of Worthington Road and Dogwood Road.

According to the CHP, a gray Mitsubishi Outlander collided with a dark-colored Honda Civic at the Imperial intersection.  One of the involved vehicles sustained front-end damage and the other had right-side damage.

Authorities said one patient, whose name was not immediately released, was transported to the Pioneers Memorial Hospital in unknown condition.

The intersection was blocked for an unknown time due to the intersection.

The crash remains under investigation.
